Our Teaching Facilities

We have a purpose built teaching facility where we teach individuals or groups fly casting, fly tying, entomology,. lake craft or stream craft.

It is filled with the latest in audio and visual equipment and has practise tying benches as well as a wet area for studying and understanding terrestrial and aquatic insects under the microscope.

We have formalised training programs at both the beginners and advanced level in all of the above mentioned areas. We believe this is the only facility of its type available to learners and experienced anglers alike in Tasmania and both Ken and Barry are your instructors.

Ken is a certified member of the Fly Fishing Federation of America Instructors Guild while Barry was a Defence Force instructor, transitioning those skills to his then hobby of fly-fishing.
